Acknowledgements

		The Department of Provincial and Local Government (DPLG) would like to acknowledge all role players and stakeholders who helped make the IDP Nerve Centre (IDPNC) a reality. A special word of acknowledgement must go to the IDP Nerve Centre Steering Committee for providing project guidance, the Provinces for their ongoing support in helping the IDPNC with digital copies of their municipal  IDPs and the numerous content contributors who have spent both time and money to ensure that the IDP Nerve Centre content is relevant within the situational context in which it is to function.
		Research and development of the IDP Nerve Centre was undertaken by the Development Management Sciences (DMS) Unit at the CSIR in association with MBV Core Technology and New Solutions.
		National implementation has commenced as part of a strategic partnership between the CSIR, the State Information Technology Agency (SITA) and the dplg. SITA is project managing the national implementation process.
